The book will be launched on Kickstarter in early 2025 to raise production and printing funds.
The heart of the book will be interviews and portraits with some of the best modern romance authors, including legends like Sarah MacLean and Courtney Milan and new super stars like Ali Hazelwood and Adriana Herrera.
The book will also include a few short essays about the history and significance of romance novels as well as a selection of beautifully photographed scenes from some of your favorite books.

"Romance novels are the feminist texts of our time. They center women, their stories, their dreams, their goals, their emotions, their sexuality, and their happily ever afters."
"I think there's something really powerful about romance novels and the way they unapologetically prioritize women's happiness and desires. Writing romance allows me to explore what it means to be vulnerable and to find strength in love, which I think is something that resonates with a lot of people."
"Romance, at its best, is a genre that welcomes everyone. It’s about telling stories where people of all backgrounds can find love, acceptance, and happiness, and I think that’s incredibly powerful."
